Molly Bloom's furniture & Giftware was established in 1999. The Company's aim was to produce traditional solid style furniture. Only selected and graded timbers are used and imperfections are deliberately left to retain its natural appeal and character. Traditional methods are used such as dovetailed joints on drawers with solid wood bottoms and softing work on sharp edges whilst adhering to the traditional styles customers have come to appreciate.

We also realise in todays market the customer's also like to have their own individuality so each piece is hand sanded until soft and smooth to the touch and can be supplied in a variety of colours and finishes - waxed, painted, paste and lacquered - from single colour finishes to combinations of two colours. It can also be delivered In The White. The colours vary from creams and whites to greens, blues and black. The painted finishes are multi-layered ones and include water-borne paint, hand applied patina and a final coat of lacquer and on request, various grades of distressing can be applied. All the colour paste and lacquered finishes are multi-step finishing processes, requiring up to 7 separate coatings, all based on solvent-borne finishing products. All the pine models of furniture are available in any of the above mentioned finishes. Displayed on this site are a selection of what can be seen in our brochure and in our shop at the address given, which is worth a visit for its unique giftware alone; mirrors, pottery, and small gift ideas.

We also sell Teak furniture, finished in either Oil of French Polish some of which can be seen on this site.
